Group/Meeting/Audience Review: Audience review

Mandy Bass interviewed Lori Nash Byron, via podcast, giving the beginner and/or professional speaker expert advice, tips, and practical application points on how to increase our "Fame in our Field" of with regards to public speaking-- as a launch pad to building a successful business to a target audience--furthermore, marketing our brand. Lori's likability was very high and I immediately felt connected. Her resume speaks for itself. As a new person in this industry, I was writing down every word--absorbing the years of both women's plethora of knowledge in this industry. This podcast was a wealth of information that I will continue to mull over, research, as well as immediately put into practice numerous strategies discussed. As an educational leader for 24 years, my niche audience and mission has changed drastically. Having overcome a personal battle with destructive coping mechanisms and numbing addictions, my message and heart are to take the solutions I found to overcome these vices to professionals everywhere. In this day and age, professionals like myself are having difficulty managing and balancing work stressors, home, and life. More and more addictions are unraveling good, hard-working individuals--they are living in silence with pain and shame--in a cycle; destructive coping mechanisms are coming into play in all professional playgrounds. I found a long-lasting, sustainable solution to "balance"; I aim to use my voice to muffle the shame cycle surrounding such taboo topics in the work arena. I offer practical and spiritual applications for overcoming such struggles. I appreciate Lori's candor and her freshness. I learned a tremendous amount in a 40-minute podcast. Thank you.
