Texas Unites for Animals is currently seeking presenters for our 2017 conference, taking place
April 22-24, 2017 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel. Be a part of the largest regional animal welfare
conference in the United States and share your expertise with the animal welfare community in Texas
and our surrounding states!
Proposals may be submitted for presentations on any aspect of animal welfare. Our attendees come
from Municipal Shelters, Private Shelters, Rescue Groups, Law Enforcement, Veterinary Clinics, etc.
Frequently requested topics are: field services (ACO) issues and resources, cruelty investigations and
prosecutions, rescue/foster based topics and resources, cat/dog behavior and handling, trends and
opportunities in animal welfare, working with placement partners, public relations and the media,
breed recognition, improving lost and found programs, community outreach and pet retention.
