Special Details About This Meeting/Audience:

The Illinois ENA Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Committee sponsors a poster session at the Illinois ENA Spring Symposium annually. The Committee is seeking abstracts for the poster presentation that address clinical, education, injury prevention, leadership, quality improvement, and safety issues in emergency care. The poster and EBP sessions are excellent opportunities to present your work and discuss the problems of, and solutions to, many of the pressing issues in today’s emergency health care environment with nurses, managers, leaders, researchers, and other participants; as well as dissemination of knowledge about emergency nursing and emergency care.

The primary authors/presenters must be a current Illinois ENA member to be considered for acceptance. All abstracts accepted will be recognized in the Symposium brochure and the Illinois ENA website. Authors/presenters of abstracts accepted will be required to be present at the poster session at the Illinois ENA Spring Symposium. Four winners will be selected to present a 10-15-minute presentation for the EBP Breakout Session on April 21, 2017.

Abstracts submitted by any EBP Committee members are not eligible for awards. Each abstract (not authors) accepted for the poster session will be awarded a stipend.
