Returning to Las Vegas, Black Hat will feature the very latest in information security research, development and trends – including its new Applied Security track, dedicated to the practical application of cutting edge InfoSec tools and processes. The event will span six days, kicking off with four days of intense hands-on Trainings for security practitioners, followed by two days of integral Briefings, a Business Hall filled with leading solution providers, special events and more.

Black Hat is introducing a new vendor-neutral track on applied security. The Applied Security track focuses on the practical application of cutting edge InfoSec tools and processes and will feature talks on trends and analysis on subjects such as: breach incidents, phishing, social engineering, ransomware and more. Submissions for the Applied Security track must contain actionable information and real-world takeaways that are relevant to the challenges security professionals face on a day-to-day basis.
