Four events in one, Open Source Summit is a technical conference where 2,000+ developers, operators and community leadership professionals convene to collaborate, share information and learn about the latest in open technologies, including Linux, containers, cloud computing and more.

Submit to speak at Open Source Summit North America on a range of open source topics – from DevOps, Security or Networking to Kernel Development, Containers and Professional Open Source.

We know that the Linux and open source community can be very intimidating for anybody who is interested in participating.

Linux Foundation events are an excellent way to get to know the community and share your ideas and the work that you are doing. You do not need to be a core kernel maintainer or a chief architect to submit a proposal. In fact, we strongly encourage first-time speakers to submit talks for all of our events.
