Special Details About This Meeting/Audience:
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBend, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBend event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
We’re looking for inspiration. It’s all around us, and it’s within us.
TEDxPlano 2020 will be held April 4, 2020.
Our theme is MERAKI.
Meraki means:
- to do something with soul, creativity or love
- to put something of yourself into what you’re doing
- your essence is forever connected to what you do.
We’re looking for Talks of purpose, passion and impact. What’s your TEDxPlano idea?
