In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBend, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBend event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
TEDxBismarck features an array of innovative and influential speakers, thought-leaders and entertainers from North Dakota and around the United States. Our TEDx talks cover an endless variety of topics. If you’ve identified an issue that you are passionate about, the TEDxBismarck platform could be a perfect place to share it.
Perhaps you have identified a challenge or problem that is important to you. That’s great! The difference between a speech on this subject and a TEDx talk is that TEDx speakers present an issue and propose possible solutions.
TEDxBismarck events focus on the power of ideas to challenge thoughts and change attitudes, lives, communities and ultimately, the world.
