In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBend, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBend event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
To be visionary is to perceive the intangible—to imagine possibilities beyond the accepted norm. How can we cultivate the unseen to create a more vibrant future?
Join us for Bethesda’s next TEDx conference at Strathmore’s beautiful Concert Hall. Global thought leaders from Google, Forbes, ABC’s Shark Tank, A&E, and more will take the stage to share their strongest ideas. Best part: they are all from the local area! Each of these live TEDx Talks will be recorded and uploaded to the official TEDx Youtube channel, which currently has over 16 million active subscribers.
