Special Details About This Meeting/Audience:

Now in it’s third year, Text Analytics Forum is seeking knowledgeable and creative people with exciting new approaches to share their ideas on all things textual. The Text Analytics Forum is designed to be a place where those who work with text analytics, from beginner to advanced can benefit from new ideas and experiences.

The theme this year is Taking It to the Next Level.

Text analytics has enormous potential for unlocking and using the information within unstructured content, but often organizations struggle to realize the full value of text analytics at two critical points. The first is pretty obvious: starting a text analytics project. The second is what, according to surveys and interviews, happens too often: organizations implement a text analytics initiative, and after a year or so, realize that they are not getting what they thought they would. The question then becomes how to take their text analytics initiative to the next level.

We are looking for talks about both situations. Some examples are case studies of how you started text analytics: How did you approach it? What issues came up? What new ideas did you developed? What were the key new ideas that enabled you to succeed (or caused you to fail :->)? What advice do you have for others starting out?

We also want to hear how organizations took text analytics to the next level: what worked and what didn’t. What amazing new techniques did you develop? What were the critical success factors? What new applications did you develop?
