Forensic social work with all of its complementary fields, has a unique and important role to play in this challenging day and age. With increased division and vitriol in the public discourse, forensic social work practitioners are positioned to lead toward more inclusive, equitable, just, and sustainable dialogue and problem-solving. NOFSW’s 39th Annual Conference “Forensic Social Work: Leadership in the Age of Conflict” will bring social workers, attorneys, judges, law enforcement officers, healthcare workers, mitigation specialists, child welfare professionals, and many more – together to bridge the current divides. Plenaries, workshops and research sessions will explore how to promote client and community well-being, develop and disseminate effective programs and interventions, advocate for laws and policies that challenge social injustice, and address the needs of vulnerable, marginalized, and court-involved populations. Join us virtually as an attendee and/or presenter June 6-8, 2023 to collaborate with national and international forensic social work practitioners and hone your leadership skills to make a positive difference!
