Here at AIIM, we believe that information is our most important asset. And we’ve always felt this way – even way back in 1943 when this community was formed as the National Micrographics Association and later became the Association for Information and Image Management.

Sure, the technology has come a long way since then, and the variety of the information objects we’re managing has changed a lot, but one tenet has remained constant: we’ve always focused on the intersection of people, processes, and information. We help organizations put information to work.

Any conference is only as successful as its speakers are good. We are seeking passionate, well-informed storytellers and change-makers to speak at The AIIM Conference 2017. If you’ve embarked on a project within your organization that changed processes surrounding information management, we want to hear from you. It doesn’t matter if it was a small individual project, a departmental win, or an organization-wide initiative. We want to hear it all!

Managing information has many aspects and at AIIM17 we want to create a well-rounded program that covers it all. We are technology agnostic, it’s the people and the process that are the important part of the story.

Our attendees are looking for creative, yet practical, presentations. The ideal presentation will:

  • Be futuristic in nature – but not 10 years ahead science fiction
  • Move attendees away from the status quo – it isn’t business as usual
  • Give a couple of practical takeaways to implement immediately upon return to the organization

If you are chosen to speak at the AIIM Conference 2017, you will be given a complimentary conference pass for all 3 days of the event. Pre-Conference sessions are not included and would need to be purchased if desired. We don’t reimburse any travel and accommodation expenses.
