The Lead Developer is the conference for tech leads, organised by White October Events. We’re back in London on 8 & 9 June 2017!

Our audience is made up primarily of senior and lead developers/engineers, technical managers and CTOs. Part of the programme is curated and we also have some slots which will be filled via this Call for Papers. We aren’t looking for sales pitches, but for people able to speak passionately and from experience and who understand our audience of development team leads. In particular we’re looking for two kinds of sessions:

1) 10 minute lightning talks designed to give snapshots of new and disruptive technologies and tools.
2) 30 minute talks on topics of interest to tech team leads – keeping yourself relevant, managing teams, levelling up on new processes and technologies.

We will video record all talks and make them available for free following the conference.

If your talk is selected, you’ll receive:

– A ticket to the conference
– Two room nights accommodation at the hotel conference
– Economy travel expenses
– £500 honorarium
– Dedicated support from our team at all stages of your participation in the conference

We welcome applications from less experienced speakers and would work with you to help you prepare. We actively encourage submissions from individuals from groups who consider themselves under represented on stage at technical conferences.
