Special Details About This Meeting/Audience:

The Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE) is a national association of community-based service providers and stakeholders working to increase the employment inclusion of Canadians with disabilities by building the capacity of service providers to achieve success – and by promoting the benefits of inclusion to Canadian employers. CASE also promotes social inclusion for Canadians with disabilities.

The theme of the 22nd Annual Supported Employment Conference is ROI – Return On Inclusion. The focus of this conference is on showcasing the value and ease of hiring persons with disabilities. How can we as service providers assist employers with identifying this value to their organizations and increase employment inclusion for marginalized populations? What are the proven strategies as well as innovative approaches which generate the sustainable outcomes we all seek? In Ontario there is increased pressure for service providers to meet the needs of a diverse group of job seekers. This is a fairly new approach and we hope to provide workshops that will raise the level of understanding and skills of the frontline workers.
