NAGC is dedicated to providing world-class training opportunities for members and non-members alike at its annual Communication School, held every June. NAGC also seeks to recognize excellent in communications through its Blue Pencil & Gold Screen Awards, handing out prizes in forty categories. We also identify a Communicator of the Year at the annual school; a person who epitomizes excellence in communications.
The National Association of Government Communicators announces a “Call for Speakers” for the 2019 Communications School being held in Washington D.C., June 25-27. Speaker applications are being accepted for half-day workshops, plenary speakers and 60-minute breakout session presentations. We are interested in speakers from all levels of government: local, special district, state, federal, and tribal, as well as from the private sector. Deadline to apply is January 31, 2019.
